It is the first mass produced vehicle in the company's medium armour category. While the vehicle was ahead of its competition in some fields, such as a remote controlled turret with sniper-like precision, it was also riddled with design flaws. Weakpoints in its armour, an underperforming powertrain and a turret that was too small for the weapon, resulting in serious limitations in the gun's elevation and depression. The AFV was rendered obsolete when the first Heavy tank series ([http://acfvehicles.wikia.com/wiki/St.Type31 St.Type 31]) completed combat trials, and thus production was stopped and the design for the AFV was sold. |
